Poem in the Style of an Antique Translation

Meaning of the name “Nilges” (ní ěr gé sī) in Chinese: Buddhist Nun: accomplished, talented: unusual name

Ka Yan is patient with Fate!
She plays the dulcimer and one stringed lute
Singing sweetly of Mount Abora.
Her family name is unusual and unknown,
Yet she knows in her heart, a priori,
The coolness and sweetness of the emptiness of Jade.
She is patient and still,
And thinks no one ill
Bearing loving-kindness and good will.
I have myself seen her flying with the moon
In robes of crystal, in Autumn.
It is not Wong to have an unusual name!
