Workout Log 5 and 6 March 2013

5 March 2013

15 min on ancient, creaky rowing machine; felt good.

6 March 2013

No workout; instead, started chemotherapy at Queen Mary outpatient center (while continuing as an inpatient at Grantham). Potential visitors note that this will be every other day for a few days at regular intervals. I will always be available in the evening.

No immediate side effects although it is way far to soon to tell. Potential future side effects include nausea and vomiting.

Exceedingly comfortable chemotherapy outpatient with chairs that assuaged all pain and as usual kind and caring staff.

In ambulance and back at Grantham I find that a continual back and lower spine stretch helps but not consistently.

  1. May the chemo work well and quickly! Best wishes.

  2. They may give you Zofran for nausea. If it doesn’t work, ask for Phenergan. It works much better for me.
