Congee, Henry VI Part 1. Lots of pain last night, getting better. A mad Duchess and her Homunculus try to kidnap Talbot but in vain, for Talbot is an Englishman whereas a mad duchess and her Homunculus are…well, I ask you. The part of the Homunculus in the BBC series was effectively cast, for Ron Cook, later to be Richard III, appears as Homunculus in the earlier play.

The theme of my obsession with Shakespeare’s History plays way back in 1962 was a search for a father.

Once again, the Incomprehensible Maestro undt seinem kinder Max undt Moritz insist on dining at a burger joint, this one specializing in spicy German pepper burgers and french fries smothered in Mayonaisse with Sarsaparilla, a sort of root tonic invented by the sagacious Native Americans, to wash it all down.
