7 July 2013: Pain & Hot Food

20 minute workout first thing: in a lot of pain did 150 low-rise steps and 100 supine pull-ups at dawn. Unable as a morale issue to get outside tho I like to. But congee this morning was exceptionally hot, unsweetened and fluffy: hot food and hot drinks reduce pain.

Next step in the Grand High Re-Read of the Critique of Pure Reason shall be a re-read of my late son’s copy the Grounding of the Metaphysics of Morals in his honor. Have started same: but hounded like Durer’s Ritter by the prospect of Black Screen of Death I am compelled to be brief. I shall post comments on the Grundlegung in separate briefer notes.
