First thing (5:54 AM) workout: 20 minutes first thing: 75 low rise steps, walk with weights, supine cycling with weights. Black weather (not a “black rainstorm”, a weather alert, just a dark day not conducive to cheerfulness). After meeting with the doctor, will proceed to day room in order to get rid of depression and hopefully snag a cup of black and overstrong coffee.
Restarted reading of Johansen’s A History of Ancient Philosophy on the origins of religion and philosophy in ancient Greece. This will be my self-administered class in ancient philosophy of the West (Greek and Roman philosophy up to and including St. Augustine).
